Welcome to Big Sky Soapworks
Small Batch All Natural Soaps
Handcrafted in the beautiful Kalispell, Montana
LOCAL + HOMEGROWN + WILD
Big Sky Soapworks is different in that every item that we make is inspired by all things herbal and the nature that surrounds us. One of the wonderful things about living in Montana is that we can get all the inspiration that we would ever need from right here on our little homestead. From the view of the Flathead Valley nestled up against the Rocky Mountains to the forest and fields that surround us. We believe that simplicity is best.
Each and every item is handcrafted in very small batches using only pure, natural and fresh ingredients. We carefully harvest every botanical right here on our little homestead and when we can’t harvest the ingredients our self, we make sure we purchase from the best sources or gather our ingredients that are locally grown on family farms. Whether it’s fresh goat milk from Lucy on the farm up the road or organic, fair trade herbals that are purchased online. We want only the best ingredients in all of our products.
Meet the Makers
Big Sky Soapworks was created in 2015 by Todd and Stacey Harvey. With a deep and shared passion for all things natural, simple and good.
Big Sky Soapworks was born out of a desire for a healthier home. You see, Todd was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. With that diagnoses came a complete lifestyle change. We wanted an alternative to the chemical-laden products that were found in the market. We wanted to change our lives from the inside out. What began as an at home kitchen experiment to make our home and family more natural and healthy, evolved into a wonderful small little business.
We take great care in handcrafting all of our products. Being able to create these products for you brings us great joy and happiness! We want to say “Thank you so much for supporting our small business!”
We are located on a small homestead in the hills just west of Kalispell. In addition to handcrafting our body care products, we also raise chickens and grow most of our food and botanicals. Every year we extend our gardening area just a little bit more and add to the items that we can harvest right here.
We are proud members of Made in Montana and the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild
